Cooking method
First, I heat the margarine slightly, rub it with sugar until a homogeneous thick mass. Soda should be extinguished in a teaspoon of lemon juice, then mixed with margarine and sugar.
Then I add flour mixed with turmeric and knead the dough. This should be done with light movements, without pressure. Do not knead the dough for a long time, otherwise the cookies will turn out too dense. The dough should be plastic, easy to assemble into a ball.
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
A layer of dough, 5 mm thick, is rolled out on a baking sheet that does not need to be lubricated. I cut out circles with a glass 40 mm in diameter. You can just cut it into squares.
Bake in a preheated electric oven for 12-15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. It turned out 50 pieces that increased in size during baking.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
So that the oven has time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
