Catfish pie

Crispy crust, juicy filling - try it! Catfish pie is very easy to prepare, it does not take much time and effort. For cooking, you can choose a ready-made dough, it should be thinly rolled. Since the catfish is a rather watery fish, the surface of the dough should be sprinkled with breadcrumbs, this will prevent it from getting wet.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

Spinach and leek are washed, cut finely with a knife, fry the onion in vegetable oil immediately, followed by spinach, stir occasionally.

Cut the catfish into cubes, separating the bone. Salt and pepper the fillets, mix gently.

Roll out the dough into a thin layer giving it the shape of a rectangle. Sprinkle the dough with breadcrumbs using the larger half of the portion, spread the fish, and on top of it - greens.

Lift the edges of the dough and put them on top of each other to close the pie. We transfer the workpiece to a baking sheet previously lined with parchment, sprinkle the surface of the pie with the remaining breadcrumbs and send it to the oven.

Bake the pie at a temperature of 220 degrees for half an hour.

We serve it on the table in a warm form, but the pie also remains very tasty when cold.

Eat with appetite!
