Step 1:
Peel apples and pumpkin and cut into cubes. Preheat the frying pan with the addition of butter, spread the apples and pumpkin and fry everything together over medium heat while stirring. Add sugar and mix. Simmer until the apples are soft. Remove the filling from the heat to cool.
Step 2:
In one bowl, lightly beat eggs with milk with a fork. In another bowl, rub the soft butter with sugar to a creamy consistency. In the third bowl, sift the flour together with baking powder.
Step 3:
Now alternately add the flour and egg mixture to the butter mixture.
Step 4:
You need to start and finish with flour mixture. Mix everything with a whisk or mixer and the dough is ready. The preparatory work is over and we have come to the final and most pleasant moment - baking our pie.
Step 5:
Spread the dough in a thickly greased form with butter, evenly distribute the pumpkin-apple filling on top of it. I also additionally decorated the pie with heavenly apples, you can do exactly that if you liked the result in the photo.
Step 6:
Bake the pie in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 40 minutes. We determine readiness with a toothpick, piercing the dough with it - if there are no traces of dough on the stick, then the pie is completely cooked and it can be served to the table, cut into small portions. Have a nice tea party!
