Cooking method
Such cookies are an easy dessert, which is possible even for those who are on a diet. The combination of different seeds makes up for the need for trace elements and nutrients for the body.
Sift the flour into a deep bowl and combine with baking powder. Add granulated sugar, salt, and then stir everything well with a fork. In a separate deep dish, combine vegetable oil with boiling water. Pour the resulting liquid into the flour and knead the dough. First you need to stir it with a fork, and when it becomes difficult, we switch to manual labor.
Knead to a steep state - the dough should stop sticking to your hands (it will take 5-7 minutes).
On a silicone mat or baking paper, roll out a piece of dough into a thin layer. The thickness should be only 2-3 mm - the cookies will still rise during the baking process. With the help of a cooking brush, we lubricate the surface with a beaten egg, which will allow it to become golden and shiny.
In a glass we combine peeled sunflower seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds. Thickly sprinkle the surface of the future cookie with a mixture of seeds. We roll the top with a rolling pin, this will allow the grains to stick well to the dough and not fall off from the finished cookies.
With an ordinary knife, a round pizza cutter or a curly cookie cutter, we cut the rolled dough into squares or any other selected pieces. We send the baking sheet with the dough into the oven, preheated to 190 degrees for 15 minutes. Readiness is determined by a "dry skewer" and a golden surface. We take the cookies out of the oven and leave them to cool on a baking sheet. Immediately after baking, it will be soft, but after 5-7 minutes it will acquire the necessary hardness and easily move away from the paper without the risk of deformation and sprinkling of seeds from the surface.
Ready-made cookies can be stored for a long time - it does not dry out and does not spoil.
Bon appetit!
