Cooking method
The recipe for biscuit biscuits "Maria" is quite simple. If you follow all the instructions listed below, the result will certainly please even beginners in the field of cooking and lovers of homemade pastries.
Pre-turn on the oven at 190-200 degrees Celsius, depending on the power of the oven. The baking mode is best set to preheating from above and below.
In a separate bowl, sift the wheat flour from foreign impurities. Add a pinch of baking soda to the same place and mix all the dry ingredients well together.
Break a chicken egg into another container. Then pour in the milk and vegetable oil, add a little sugar. Beat the egg with other products until smooth.
Gradually pour the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda) into the liquid mass (egg, milk, vegetable oil and sugar). Thus, first mix all the products with a spoon, and then knead the elastic dough with your hands, which will not stick to your hands. At the same time, flour may need a little more or a little less, depending on its variety and gluten.
Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it "rest" for 15-20 minutes.
Next, roll out the dough into a layer as thinly as possible with a rolling pin. The thinner the dough layer is, the crispier the biscuits will turn out. With the help of various molds or just with a knife, cut the cookies into portions.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper for baking. On top of the parchment, put the cut-out curly cookies. Using a fork, make punctures on the surface so that the dough does not swell and bake evenly during the baking process.
Put a baking tray with cookies in a preheated oven to bake for 5-7 minutes, until it is covered with an appetizing golden crust.
Put the hot biscuits "Maria" on a plate and as soon as it cools down, you can start drinking tea.
Bon appetit!
