Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. The ingredients indicate the number of products per cake. Therefore, to prepare three cakes, we increase the amount three times. Immediately prepare the fillers for the dough. In one cake we will add raisins, in the second - walnuts, in the third – poppy seeds.
Step 2:
Thoroughly wash the raisins and pour boiling water, let it swell. Rinse again and dry on a paper towel.
Step 3:
The poppy is washed or steamed if it is not ready for baking. Dry well.
Step 4:
Walnuts are well washed and dried in the microwave. One minute at medium power is enough for the nuts to dry and become crispy.
Step 5:
Preparing biscuits. With a blender, beat two eggs with sugar (120g) into a thick, strong foam.
Step 6:
Add soda slaked with vinegar.
Step 7:
Pour in the sifted flour. Gently mix the dough with a spoon so that it does not settle.
Step 8:
We roll the raisins in a plate with flour so that the dough does not get wet from it. We put the raisins in the dough and gently mix it so that it is distributed evenly over the dough.
Step 9:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. We spread the dough with a spoon in a greased form and send it to the oven for 25 minutes, focusing on the work of our oven. We check the readiness of the biscuit with a wooden toothpick. After exiting, it should be dry.
Step 10:
Meanwhile, finely chop walnuts with a knife or just crumble with your hands, dried they break easily.
Step 11:
When the biscuit is baked, let it cool a little in the mold and take it out.
Step 12:
If the biscuit has grown unevenly, cut off its "head".
Step 13:
We prepare the dough for the second cake in the same way as the first, only we use poppy seeds as an additive.
Step 14:
Bake, cool.
Step 15:
We also prepare the third sponge cake with chopped walnuts.
Step 16:
While the cakes are cooling, we prepare sour cream. Whisk sour cream with sugar and vanilla until the mass increases in volume and thickens. Sour cream is better to use fatter and thicker.
Step 17:
Putting together a cake. Lubricate each cake with sour cream and spread on top of each other. Top and sides are also coated with sour cream. We let it stand in the refrigerator for a while so that the cream freezes.
Step 18:
Sprinkle grated milk chocolate on top, or you can decorate according to your taste and desire. We give the cake to soak and serve it to the table. Have a nice tea party!
