Brownies with mint syrup

Chocolate treat with a light mint flavor! Cook! Brownies with mint syrup turn out to be incredibly chocolate and delicious. A mint note adds sophistication to the treat, and it is best served with slightly melted whipped ice cream. For a brighter and more pronounced mint flavor, you can add more syrup to the filling. Cooking is very simple, but it looks and tastes like a restaurant dessert. It's worth baking, especially if you like such a classic combination as bitter chocolate and mint.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 10 min

1. Turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees Celsius, and at this time we start cooking brownies.

2. We put a saucepan on a slow fire, melt butter and grated chocolate in it, constantly stirring the mixture. Remove from the stove, let it cool down a little.

3. Add sugar to the saucepan, mix so that all the crystals dissolve.

4. Break the eggs, pour in the vanilla extract, mix again.

5. Sift the flour and combine with the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan, mix well.

6. A baking dish with a diameter of about 22 cm is lubricated with a small amount of butter. Pour the dough into it and put the mold in the oven that has managed to warm up to the desired temperature.

7. Bake for 20 minutes until "dry match". That is, until when the pie is pierced in the center, the match (toothpick, skewer) remains dry and clean. Then we remove the pie from the mold and cool it on the grill.

8. While the base cools down, put the cream cheese and sugar in a blender bowl. Beat them together for a few minutes until smooth. Add mint syrup and green food coloring (for beauty, if desired). Once again, whisk everything together. The resulting mass is distributed over the baked base, leveled. You can do it in waves, artistically. We put it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

9. We remove the brownies from the refrigerator, cut off the sides.

10. Decorate the brownies with melted chocolate, pouring on top.

11. Whisk the ice cream a little with a blender. Cut the brownies into portions, serve each with a small amount of whipped ice cream.

And enjoy!
