Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the curd dough. Add the softened butter to the sifted flour and chop the mixture with a knife to the state of crumbs.
Step 2:
Add cottage cheese, sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar to the resulting mass and knead the elastic dough.
Step 3:
Divide the dough into two parts, alternately roll out each part 3 mm thick and cut into strips with a knife.
Step 4:
Cut each strip of dough with a knife, not reaching the edge of 1 cm, into separate strips 5-6 mm wide.
Step 5:
Roll up and form cookies in the form of an octopus. Spread the cookies on a greased baking sheet.
Step 6:
Sprinkle the cookies with cinnamon, poppy seeds or some other spice to taste.
Step 7:
Put the baking sheet in a preheated oven and bake for 20-30 minutes.
Step 8:
Our homemade cottage cheese cookies are ready. It has an interesting look and literally melts in your mouth. We serve this amazing delicacy with tea, cocoa or morning coffee.
