Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Let's do the test.
Step 2:
In the bowl of the combine combine flour, powdered sugar, a pinch of salt and sliced butter. Grind everything to the state of crumbs.
Step 3:
Add cold milk (it may take a little more or less, add 1 tbsp each) and mix until the state of wet crumbs.
Step 4:
We collect the crumbs in a lump and send them to the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Step 5:
For the filling in the combine, mix dates (pitted) and nuts. Grind into a homogeneous mixture. If there is no combine, then cut everything with a knife into small pieces.
Step 6:
I had fewer dates and I also added a handful of cranberries and a handful of light raisins.
Step 7:
Prepare the crumbs for sprinkling.
Step 8:
Mix flour, powdered sugar, flakes (I pre-crushed them, but it's not necessary) and butter.
Step 9:
Grind into crumbs.
Step 10:
Roll out the dough and put it in a mold. Prick with a fork, cover the dough on top with a sheet of paper and pour the load (beans or peas). Bake at 180 C for about 15 minutes.
Step 11:
Remove the paper with the load and bake the cake for another 10-15 minutes until ready.
Step 12:
We put the filling on the finished cake (it's easier to do it with wet hands).
Step 13:
Pour the crumbs on top.
Step 14:
And bake at 180 C for about 15-20 minutes until browned. Let the pie cool completely, cut into squares and serve. Enjoy your meal!
