Step-by-step cooking
We start by melting butter, cooling it. After that, add sugar, eggs, vanilla to the butter and mix everything well. Then gradually introduce flour and baking powder, knead the dough. Now we divide it into 2 parts in a ratio of approximately: 1 to 2. We put a small part of the dough in the freezer for an hour. Most of the dough is rolled out on a greased baking sheet. We distribute jam evenly on top of this dough (I had currant jam). Now we take out a small piece of dough from the freezer, rub it on a coarse grater or pass it through a meat grinder and sprinkle it on top of the pie. After that, put the baking sheet in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
