Cut the potatoes into thin slices and boil them in lightly salted water for 5 minutes.
Prepare the sauce: fry finely chopped mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat, add flour, salt and pepper. Cook until thickened.
Put half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish. pour over half of the sauce and sprinkle with half of the grated cheese. Put the remaining potatoes in the second layer and pour half of the sauce over the same as the first one.
Cover the mold and put it in a preheated 220 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Take it out, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and put it in the oven for another 3-5 minutes.
