Step 1:
Preparation of products for making Viennese waffles. The flour should be sifted. Sour cream is fresh and with a fat content of more than 20%. Take the chicken eggs chilled.You will also need sugar, vegetable oil and vanilla.

It is necessary to separate the whites from the yolks. Put the proteins in the refrigerator.
Step 3:
Add sugar to the yolks.

Beat the ingredients with a mixer. Beat for about 10 minutes. The mass will increase in volume and thicken.
Step 5:
Add sour cream to the mixture. Mix with a whisk or spatula.
Step 6:
Add vegetable oil and vanilla. Mix gently again.
Step 7:
Pour out the sifted flour. Mix well with a whisk until a thick creamy consistency.
Step 8:
Take the proteins from the refrigerator. Beat them with a mixer. After 10 minutes, the mass will thicken and increase in volume almost three times.
Step 9:
Add the whipped whites to the mixture. And gently mix with a spatula.
Step 10:
The dough for Viennese waffles on sour cream is ready! It turns out fragrant, delicate and airy.
Step 11:
Turn on the electric waffle iron. As soon as it heats up, put the dough on the panel. For one waffle - 2 tablespoons of dough. Close the lid and snap the lock.
Step 12:
Bake the waffles for about 10 minutes. The baking time depends on the model of the electric waffle iron. Also, the readiness of waffles can be checked by eye by lifting the lid.
