Step 1:
How to make cheese sticks in milk breading with parsley? Prepare the necessary ingredients: cheese, breadcrumbs, wheat flour, milk, egg, dried parsley and salt.
Step 2:
Cut the cheese into cubes 6-9 cm long and 1.5-2 cm wide.
Step 3:
Mix breadcrumbs and dried parsley.
Step 4:
Prepare the batter. Break the egg into a bowl, add milk, salt and mix with a fork. Add about 100 g of flour and mix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Flour may need more or less, focus on the consistency of the batter: it should be like liquid sour cream.
Step 5:
Pour the remaining flour (60 g) into a bowl or bag and roll the cheese cubes in flour.
Step 6:
Then dip the cheese cubes in the batter.
Step 7:
Then roll the breadcrumbs in the breadcrumb mixture.
Step 8:
Press the breadcrumbs well to the cheese cubes. Before frying the cheese sticks, you can send them to the freezer for 3 hours to get a crisper crust when frying. Or immediately start frying cheese sticks.
Step 9:
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or frying pan to 170 °C and fry the cheese sticks for about 3 minutes until golden brown. It is advisable to put the finished sticks on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
For the preparation of cheese sticks, the varieties of cheese used for pizza preparation, such as Parmesan, Mozzarella, Cheddar, are best suited. This cheese stretches well in a melted form. Of our cheese varieties, Russian is well suited. If you like salty taste, you can take Suluguni cheese. To make the crust of the sticks more crispy, I send the cheese sticks to the freezer for 3 hours before frying. If you need to cook cheese sticks quickly, you can fry them immediately without sending them to the freezer. Cheese sticks can be served hot immediately after frying, or cool them first.
