Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Sterilize the glass cups and dishes in which we will cook.
Step 2:
Mix milk and cream, put on a small fire and heat no more than 42 degrees. High temperature is harmful to bacteria. If overheated, it's okay, cool to the desired temperature and only then add the starter.
Step 3:
If we use a dry starter, then it needs to be diluted with a small amount of milk for better dissolution
Step 4:
Mix the sourdough with the milk mixture with a whisk
Step 5:
Put the cups in the tray of the yogurt maker and pour the milk mixture. DO NOT COVER the cups with lids!
Step 6:
Close the yogurt maker and set the time on the timer. In our case - 6 hours.
Step 7:
The yogurt maker should be placed on a flat surface, away from all heat sources and not in a draft. During cooking, you can not move the yogurt maker.
Step 8:
The readiness of the yogurt is checked by a slight tilt. A sign of readiness is a stable horizontal surface.
Step 9:
Remove the tray with cups and cover each with a lid. We put it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Step 10:
You can add fruit, syrup or other filler to the finished yogurt according to your taste. Enjoy a delicious and, most importantly, healthy product.
Yogurt is not only a delicious treat, but also a healthy treat for children and adults. Unfortunately, modern manufacturers add various preservatives and fillers to it to increase the shelf life. However, natural, without harmful additives, the product can be prepared right at home. This is what the sorceress-yogurt maker will help us with!
