Autumn is traditionally a hot time for all lovers of "quiet hunting". If you have collected a lot of honeydew, it would be nice to prepare them for the future. To do this, you can use our simple cooking recipe. Pickled honey mushrooms in Belarusian are very suitable as a snack, and such food is always popular at any feast.
To prepare a marinade for honeydew, boil water, add salt, pepper, bay leaf, cinnamon and cloves. All this should be cooked for 3 minutes. Then add vinegar to the marinade, mix well and wait until it boils. After that, remove the pan from the heat. Now you need to prepare the honeydew for pickling. Wash the mushrooms well in running water, clean them, cut off the legs that are too long. Then put it in an enameled saucepan, pour cold water, and put it on the stove. As soon as the water boils, remove from the heat and drain. Pour cold water over the mushrooms again, add salt and cook for 15-20 minutes, periodically removing the resulting foam. Mushrooms are considered ready as soon as they settle to the bottom of the pan. Allow the mushrooms to cool completely, then put them in pre-prepared jars, leaving free space for the marinade. Pour the honeydew marinade up to the neck and close the lids. Turn the jars upside down and, after the marinade has cooled, put it in the refrigerator. Now there will always be delicious and healthy pickled honey mushrooms on your table!
