Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
At the beginning, prepare all the ingredients necessary for the preparation of a spicy, spicy marinade. Sterilize a jar or several small jars in advance, so that you can then put the cooked onion in them.
Step 2:
Take a medium-sized saucepan and pour the entire volume of water into it. In a saucepan with water, also immediately pour granulated sugar and salt, add pepper, bay leaves and cloves.
Step 3:
Pour table vinegar and a little vegetable oil into a saucepan. Put the pan with all the ingredients on the stove, turning on medium heat. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil. After the water boils with the rest of the ingredients, boil it for a couple more minutes. Pay attention! As soon as you put the pan on the stove, start working with the main ingredient - red onion.
Step 4:
I advise you to use a medium-sized onion, and that all the bulbs are about the same, so that both large and small and medium ones do not come across (the same slicing looks more aesthetically pleasing). First of all, peel the whole onion from the husk, then cut it, cutting each onion in half at the beginning, then cut the halves of the bulbs into thin half rings. This cutting is not fundamental, but the most convenient and beautiful.
Step 5:
Now put the chopped onion in a saucepan directly into the boiling marinade, then immediately turn off the heat. Leave the onion in the marinade for 1 minute. After that, transfer to a sterilized jar / jars and immediately close each jar tightly with a freshly boiled lid. Cool the jar /jars by turning it over and putting it in a warm place. Cover the top with a blanket or blanket.
Step 6:
You can eat such a beautiful onion.
Step 7:
Crunch with pleasure! ;)
You can pickle ordinary onions in the same way, but not only the appearance of the dish will be different (it looks more elegant with red), but the taste will be different. Red onion has a sweeter and, as for me, a more interesting taste. But the recipe with onions also has a place to be, and kebab is suitable for lula and you can add it to salads.
