Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the products to fry potatoes with chicken. I take the hams, but it can be any part of the chicken - thighs, hams, breast. Potatoes average 10 pcs, it is better to choose non-starchy varieties so that when frying potatoes retain their shape. I take onions, but you can also take garlic - it will turn out more fragrant.
Step 2:
Wash the hams and dry them with a paper towel. I will fry the chicken without bones (the bones will go to the broth). But you can fry it whole, then make the pieces smaller so that the chicken is also fried. Remove the flesh from the hams and cut into medium pieces.
Step 3:
Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into pieces. It is better not to make the pieces very thick, then the potatoes will fry and get a ruddy crust.
Step 4:
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chicken flesh in it on each side. It is better to take a good frying pan, on which the potatoes will not burn.
Step 5:
Add the sliced potatoes, stir and fry the potatoes with chicken over medium heat, without covering the lid for ten minutes.
Step 6:
Peel the onion, cut it at random and add it to the potatoes with chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Without covering the pan with a lid, fry the potatoes with chicken until cooked, stirring constantly.
Step 7:
Ready fried potatoes with chicken to serve hot. Fresh vegetables, both sliced and in the form of salads, are perfect for this dish. In the off-season of fresh vegetables, you can offer different salties, canned vegetables and salads.
