    While the dough is coming, prepare the filling. Finely chop the cabbage and put it in a hot frying pan with the addition of water. Simmer the cabbage under the lid for 15 minutes.

    Peel the carrots, grate and add to the cabbage. Pour over the tomato juice. To taste, sprinkle with salt and ground pepper. Stir and simmer for another 10 minutes, but without a lid, so that excess moisture evaporates.

    Divide the dough into pieces, form small cakes. Put the filling in the center of each, seal the edges and form a pie.
