What I like about this peat berry is that it can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time, and at the same time not lose its medicinal properties. And all because citric and benzoic acids do not allow cranberries to spoil. You can also freeze it. But for example, if there is no large freezer, some people put it in cold water, and change it from time to time. But this is naturally an extra waste of time. For example, I prepare for the winter with sugar but without heat treatment. I take a berry, wash it and then give it time to dry off. If you collected it yourself. then you can not wash. Then rub it. some do it in a blender, but I prefer it in a wooden mortar and covered with sugar. Cans of cranberries should be stored in a cold place.
