Step-by-step cooking
The culinary recipe of this salad can rather be attributed to Greek cuisine, although it seems to me that it can take its rightful place in Russian cuisine, thanks to the simplicity of preparation and excellent taste. This food for the festive table will be very useful, personally I cook it for every holiday, and the guests eat this salad one of the first. To prepare a salad with ham and cheese, first wash the vegetables, dry them with a towel. If the tomatoes are too fleshy, then you can remove the core so that the salad does not become wet and cut them into medium-sized circles. Pepper cut into strips of medium thickness and size. I also cut ham into strips, grate cheese on a coarse grater. Then I lay the products in layers on a flat dish, not forgetting to smear each layer with mayonnaise. The sequence of layers is as follows: ham-tomatoes-pepper-cheese. If there are salad components left, the layers can be repeated, and then, beautifully decorating the salad (with herbs, pepper or something else to your taste)serve to the table. The salad is delicious and immediately after cooking and if it stays in the refrigerator for a while, it will soak.
