Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To start, melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath.
Step 2:
Wait until the mass cools down at room temperature.
Step 3:
Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy, while whipping, add a little honey.
Step 4:
Mix egg mass with chocolate. Carefully, with slow movements, we do all this with a silicone spatula or you can use a spoon. The mass should remain lush.
Step 5:
Sift cocoa and baking powder into the flour.
Step 6:
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ones. We mix them with a spatula until any lumps completely disappear.
Step 7:
Add coarsely chopped almonds or any other nuts to taste (for example, cashews, walnuts or hazelnuts).
Step 8:
Lubricate the surface of the mold with butter and spray with flour. Then we shift the dough here and send it to a preheated 170 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Step 9:
If the biscuit is not baked, bake the dough at a higher temperature. Or you can first bake it for 10 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C, then reduce the temperature to 170 ° C and bake until ready. Everyone has different ovens, so you need to make sure that the biscuit does not burn. And if it is burnt, carefully cut off the upper part with a saw blade.
Step 10:
I put the cooled pastries on a wooden plate, I sprinkled it with powdered sugar. I decorate the surface of the Christmas tree with whipped cream. On top of the creamy layer I put colorful candies with chocolate filling – these are our Christmas tree toys. In addition, I decorate the Christmas tree with confectionery sprinkles in the form of cute stars so that our pastries shine with festive lights.
