Step-by-step cooking
Such a cake with walnuts and condensed milk (culinary the recipe of Georgian cuisine is found on the Internet) requires a large number of walnuts – they go into dough and cream here, and are used as decoration. Personally, it took me more than three glasses of nuts passed through a meat grinder. This is approximately a kilogram of net weight.
Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy, add sour cream, soda extinguished with lemon juice, flour, condensed milk. We continue to beat and, last of all, add ground walnuts. Divide the dough into two parts, bake each separately in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 30-35 minutes. We check for readiness with a match.
While the cakes are baking, we prepare the cream: beat the softened butter with one can of boiled condensed milk until fluffy. At the end, add chopped or minced walnuts. Personally, I like to pre–fry nuts in a frying pan without oil - this makes the food more interesting, in my opinion. When the cakes have cooled down, we put them on a round dish and coat them with a well-received cream. The entire surface of the cake, as well as its sides, is abundantly decorated with chopped walnuts (or passed through a meat grinder). This will take at least one cup of nuts, keep in mind.
