Step-by-step cooking
To begin with, the rice needs to be thoroughly rinsed until the water after it becomes transparent. Then pour into a saucepan and add chopped garlic to it. After that, you need to pour water into the rice and add tomato paste or mashed potatoes. Mix the ingredients in a saucepan and put it on high heat until it boils. Immediately after boiling, the temperature should be reduced, add salt to the mixture and cook for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked. Before the end of cooking, add dried basil to the rice and, when everything is ready, mix.
Rice will look beautiful on the table if it is placed in a slide on a dish decorated with large lettuce leaves. This recipe is quite simple, and the result will appeal to all eaters. Garlic and basil add piquancy to rice and make this dish much more advantageous than ordinary rice.
