Cooking method
1. The dough is very easy to prepare:
break the eggs into a bowl, pour warm water, add a little salt and pour the pre-sifted flour. Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
2. And now let's start the filling:
peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, cut into small cubes. The meat is washed, dried, cut in the same way as the pumpkin. Peel the onion, cut it as small as possible. Combine all the ingredients, salt and pepper to taste.
3. Let's form manta rays:
sprinkle the work surface with flour, divide the dough into small pieces, each of which is thinly rolled out. In the center of each tortilla we spread the filling, connect the two opposite edges, lifting them up and pinching them with fingers, then we give the manta rays the desired shape.
4. We boil manta rays for a couple, using a mantyshnitsa (you can cook in a slow cooker / steamer, the taste of the dish will not suffer, the appearance will not change). Lubricate the circles of the mantyshnitsa with vegetable oil, place the blanks on them (not tightly, they will increase in size in the process) and steam for half an hour.
The delicious dish is ready, you can serve it on the table, sprinkled with ground black pepper to taste!
