Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. this simple recipe for grape tincture on vodka requires only three ingredients: grapes, vodka and sugar to make the drink dessert and sweeter. To get a drink with a more refined taste, you can add spices such as cinnamon, cloves or vanilla to the number of ingredients. Grape berries are removed from the brushes, sorted, rotten and crumpled berries should not get into the tincture jar.
Step 2:
The berries are well washed under running water and thrown into a colander. Unlike wine recipes for tincture, grapes must be washed, we do not need the preservation of wine bacteria on the surface of the berries, nor do we need the fermentation of the tincture itself, unlike wine preparation. We throw the grapes into a colander, let the water drain, and the berries dry out. Then we put them in a jar. Add sugar and pour vodka.
Step 3:
Vodka should cover the berries completely. We close the jar with a lid and put it in a dark place at room temperature for 3 weeks. During this time, we check the contents of the jar, periodically shaking it so that the sugar in the liquid completely dissolves.
Step 4:
After the specified time, we remove the grapes from the tincture, filter the tincture through gauze folded in several layers so that it turns out transparent, without sediment. If the sediment passes through the gauze, you can put a piece of cotton wool between the layers.
Step 5:
Pour the tincture into clean dark bottles, seal them tightly with corks and put them in a dark, cool place for storage. The shelf life of such a drink is about 3 years. Although, most likely, the tincture will not remain in the pantry for such a time. We serve the drink to the table.
