Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Fruits and berries can be taken any, according to your taste, but it should be very juicy fruits, because the punch is based primarily on fruit juices. Frozen berries are also suitable, only first they need to be well thawed by collecting the released juice. Tea is needed in the form of tea leaves, but not very strong and chilled. You can take brewed black or green tea, but preferably without additives and flavors.
Step 2:
Wash the orange well, it is even advisable to use a special brush and a fruit detergent. After all, we will use the orange together with the peel. It also needs to be washed with very hot water, so the orange will give much more juice. Cut the orange into half circles.
Step 3:
Also rinse the apple well, remove the seed pod and cut into cubes. If you use a store-bought apple, it makes sense to cut off the skin from it. Store-bought fruits for long-term storage are often treated with paraffin, and it is not excreted from the human body in any way.
Step 4:
Put the chopped fruit in a deep bowl. Rinse the mint well, dry it with paper napkins and also put it to the fruit. Add cinnamon and star anise. I use a cinnamon stick and a star of star anise, but it can also be ground spices. Also at this stage you can add some other favorite spices: maybe it will be vanilla or vanilla sugar, or maybe ginger, cloves or nutmeg.
Step 5:
Defrost the cranberries and add them to the bowl where you are preparing the drink.
Step 6:
Add sugar and wait 10-15 minutes for the fruit to release juice. Here, focus on your taste. If you have fruits of sweet varieties or, for example, you are preparing a drink in the summer and took sweet apricots, peaches and strawberries - in this case, sugar can not be added.
Step 7:
Pour in the tea. I took the usual green tea.
Step 8:
Stir and let the drink brew for about 30 minutes - 2 hours. Then strain the drink. If you used ground spices, then you will have to strain through a fine sieve or even gauze.
Step 9:
Serve the drink to the table chilled, or you can even use a siphon to make it carbonated. Bon appetit!
