Cooking method
Strawberry leaves should be harvested in August-September. Before drying the leaves, they should be slightly dried for 3-5 hours so that they become soft. Soft leaves are kneaded and transferred to a cardboard box. It is desirable that they be placed in a thin layer. We leave them for about 7-9 hours. After that, the leaves are dried outdoors or in the oven. It is recommended to store dried strawberry leaves in a dry, well-ventilated room.
Strawberry leaf tea contains vitamin C and phytoncides - herbal antibiotics. Therefore, it is recommended to use it for colds, as well as for inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, chronic liver and kidney diseases, angina and laryngitis. A decoction of strawberry leaves will bring invaluable benefits to hypertensive patients. It effectively dilates blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
You can prepare a healing decoction from both fresh leaves and dry ones. If the foxes are fresh, their number should be doubled. Dry raw materials are more concentrated, so less is needed.
If you regularly drink such a decoction in the midst of seasonal colds, the immune system will strengthen and will not miss pathogenic viruses.
