Chicken and Pineapple Salad in Tartlets

Serve this salad in tartlet shells for a fun little appetizer.

Cooking method

    Rinse the chicken breast and boil it until cooked through in salted water. I also added 2 bay leaves and a few allspice berries.

    Drain the pineapple and cut it into cubes.

    Chop the walnuts.

    Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

    Hard-boil the eggs, cool them, and chop them finely.

    Cool the chicken and cut it into cubes.

    Combine the chicken, pineapple, cheese, and walnuts. Add the garlic, put through a press.

    Dress with mayonnaise and season with salt (if needed) and pepper.

    Spoon the salad into the tartlet shells, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve.

  • The salad turns out more delicate if you cut everything as finely as possible and grate the eggs.
  • You can use fresh pineapple in place of canned.
