The most fragrant jam for winter and not only! Papaya jam is an exotic preparation that tastes no worse than the usual fruit and berry delicacies. Jam is prepared as usual, it turns out very fragrant, medium density, with a beautiful amber color.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 4 hours

1. I wash the papaya, peel it, cut it in half, clean the grains.

2. Cut the papaya pulp into cubes, put it in a saucepan, cover it with sugar, leave it for 30-40 minutes until the fruit starts to juice.

3. We send the pan to a small fire, bring it to a boil, then leave it for a couple of hours.

4. Wash the lemon thoroughly with a brush, dry it, grate the zest (only the yellow part of it), squeeze the juice out of the pulp.

5. Re-boil the jam, add the juice and lemon zest, cook for half an hour, then put it in dry pre-sterilized jars, roll up the lids.
