Cooking method
Cooking homemade cottage cheese from kefir is very simple. Pour the kefir into a stainless steel saucepan, put it on medium heat.
Heat the kefir to 70 degrees Celsius. Kefir mass will be divided into whey and cottage cheese flakes.
Cover the colander with gauze folded in several layers. Pour the contents of the pan into it, let the whey drain for an hour, after which the cottage cheese will be ready for use.
Homemade cottage cheese is good both in sweet and unsweetened form. It can be eaten not only with honey, syrups, berries and fruits, but also with herbs.
