Cooking method
1. Apples are cut into slices, after removing the core.
2. Put currant leaves on the bottom of the jar. Lay the cucumbers tightly, shifting the apple slices.
3. For brine, boil 1.5 liters of water with the addition of 1.5 tablespoons of salt and sugar. Pour boiling water over the jars, let stand for 5 minutes, drain and repeat a second time.
4. For the third time, pour the jars with brine and roll up.
My mother-in-law does not eat anything pickled and salted, but she eats these cucumbers with apples for the winter!
Bon appetit!
