Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

To make this recipe, start with the amount of chicken breast you need. Rinse it under running water and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into small, roughly equal pieces and put them in a bowl.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Season the meat with salt and spices. Drizzle in a little vegetable oil and stir to combine. Then add the flour and cornstarch.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Stir again so the meat is evenly coated in the flour mixture.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Heat a large skillet until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Add the coated chicken pieces, arranging them in a single layer so they fry up with a fragrant, crispy crust.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Once the meat is browned on one side, flip all the pieces and fry until golden on the other side. Cook over medium heat so it doesn't burn but cooks through evenly. Transfer the finished chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain off the excess fat. Serve hot. Enjoy!

  • Chicken often turns out dry and bland, but a few tricks will prevent that. The easiest one is a good coating—it seals the juices inside each piece. Chicken cooks very fast, and the key is not to overcook it: too much time over the heat makes the meat tough. That's why I'm sharing all my tips for juicy chicken in this recipe. Chicken cooked this way pairs with any side, but it's especially good with fries or roasted potato wedges. You can also serve it with a garlic sauce and a vegetable salad, or simply alongside some sliced fresh vegetables. Highly recommended!
