Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make delicious pork in teriyaki sauce in a frying pan? Very simple. First, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. What kind of meat can I take besides pork? Any. Beef, lamb, chicken or turkey will do. But keep in mind that the calorie content and cooking time will change.
Step 2:
Wash the pork, dry it and cut it into medium pieces. Pork is needed without bones, only the flesh. Choose a part of the carcass according to your taste. It can be ham, shoulder blade, carbonade, neck, tenderloin, etc. I have a shoulder blade, from which I have previously cut off excess fat.
Step 3:
Put the meat in a bowl, pour the teriyaki sauce.
Step 4:
Add starch, spices and mix well. Teriyaki sauce, depending on the manufacturer, can be completely liquid and fluid, like water, or slightly thickened. If you have a thicker sauce, you do not need to add starch. Leave the meat to marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 5:
Now prepare the vegetables for the side dish. You can not cook the side dish at all or replace it with some other one to your liking. Zucchini can be replaced with ordinary zucchini with pale green skin.
Step 6:
Peel the onion and cut it into semicircles.
Step 7:
Peel the bell peppers from the seeds and stems and cut into slices or straws. It is better to take peppers of different colors, then the side dish will turn out not only delicious, but also beautiful.
Step 8:
Wash the zucchini and cut into medium pieces. I have a zucchini of a small diameter, so I cut it into quarters.
Step 9:
In a well-heated frying pan, put the pork together with the sauce and, stirring, fry over high heat until cooked for about 10-15 minutes. The exact roasting time depends on your frying pan and the size of the meat pieces.
Step 10:
In another frying pan on a fire above average (I have mode 7 of 9), heat the vegetable oil, put the zucchini, bell pepper and onion. Fry, stirring, until the vegetables are ready for about 5-7 minutes.
Step 11:
At the very end, season the vegetables with salt, pepper and mix. The side dish is ready. It is better to fry vegetables and garnish in two frying pans at the same time. Then you will have everything ready at about the same time.
Step 12:
Put the fried vegetables and pork on a plate. If desired, sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds and chopped parsley. Enjoy your meal!
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which is better not to use at all, read here .
Important! An incorrectly selected frying pan can ruin even the best recipe. All the details on how to choose the perfect frying pan for different dishes read here .
