Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients according to the list. For an omelet, you need a minimum of products that will always be found in every home. But in order for an omelet, even without milk in the composition, to turn out to be airy, tender, soft and delicious, you need to know some tricks of its preparation. The products must all be of the same temperature so that the mixture turns out without lumps.
Step 2:
Chicken eggs for making an omelet must be used fresh, no more than 5 days of shelf life, otherwise they will be badly beaten. We drive the chicken eggs into a deep bowl, add a pinch of salt and beat with a fork or a hand whisk until a homogeneous mixture with a small foam on the surface is obtained. If desired, you can separate the whites from the yolks and beat them separately, then gently mix. But you need to beat with a manual device.
Step 3:
If you use a mixer or blender, the mass will turn out so homogeneous and the omelet will not rise well when frying. Pour water into the egg mixture and whisk the mixture again with a whisk or fork. After preparing the mixture for the omelet, you need to immediately proceed to frying it, it is impossible for the finished mixture to stand for more than two minutes.
Step 4:
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan (it is better to use a cast-iron or other frying pan with a thick bottom for making an omelet, so that the omelet does not burn and is evenly fried). We warm it up on high heat. Pour the egg mixture into a frying pan and fry on high heat for about two minutes. When the omelet rises, reduce the heat to medium and continue to fry for a couple more minutes so that the omelet is well baked. You can cover the pan with a lid, the omelet will not settle.
Step 5:
The dish is ready. We serve the omelet to the table. If desired, it can be rolled into a roll and add a filling of vegetables, meat or mushrooms. Bon appetit!
