Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Batter. To prepare the batter, we will need: eggs, cheese, sour cream, flour, ground black pepper and salt.
Step 2:
Grate the cheese on a fine or medium grater.
Step 3:
In a bowl, combine cheese, eggs and sour cream. Sour cream is better to take fatter, for example 20-25% fat content.
Step 4:
Add flour.
Step 5:
Mix everything. You should get a sufficiently viscous mass. If the batter turns out to be liquid, then add a little more flour. Then it will stay on the surface of the fillet and not drain from it.
Step 6:
Add ground black pepper and salt to the batter. If the cheese is salty enough, then you do not need to salt the batter additionally.
Step 7:
Prepare the ingredients. To cook chicken fillet with cheese in a frying pan, we will need: chicken fillet and vegetable oil for frying.
Step 8:
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it lengthwise into 2-3 pieces. Beat off each slice of fillet with a hammer on both sides.
Step 9:
Spread half of the batter on each piece of fillet with a spoon.
Step 10:
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Put the chicken pieces in the pan with the batter down. Fry for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
Step 11:
Spread the remaining batter evenly on top.
Step 12:
Turn the chicken over and continue to fry for about 10 more minutes until the chicken is cooked and golden brown.
Step 13:
Serve chicken fillet in cheese batter hot. Any side dish is suitable: boiled rice or buckwheat, mashed potatoes or fries, as well as a salad of fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
