Cooking method
1. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for preheating in convection mode or heating from above and below.
2. Peel the potatoes, rinse them well under running water and dry them on paper towels. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
3. We will wash the Bulgarian pepper, cut off its peduncle and extract all the seeds and membranes from the inside. Finely chop the remaining pepper pulp into cubes.
4. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.
5. In a large bowl or any other container, mix the potato cubes, crushed bell pepper and grated cheese together. Then put the resulting mixture in a baking dish or a deep baking sheet and evenly distribute it over the entire area.
6. Peel the garlic, rinse and grind it through a special press or grate it on a fine grater. Mix sour cream and garlic together. Dilute the resulting mixture with warm chicken broth. Stir everything well and pour it into a baking dish. This sour cream sauce will make the potatoes more juicy and tender.
7. Pork fillet will be washed and dried with paper towels. Then cut the meat into portioned chops and put it in a baking dish right on top of the previously laid potatoes. Add salt and season with ground black pepper to taste.
8. Cover the baking dish with food foil and pinch the edges on the sides so that the steam does not leave. And then put the dish in the preheated oven to bake for about 40 minutes.
9. Remove the baking dish from the oven and remove the foil. Again, put the meat and potatoes to bake for about 5 more minutes to form an appetizing golden crust on top.
We will arrange the finished dish on serving plates and decorate with chopped herbs. You need to serve the treat on the table warm.
Bon appetit!
