The ingredients you'll need.

Pat the rinsed heart dry with a towel or paper towel, cut it into small pieces, and sear in oil in a very hot skillet.

Sprinkle with the flour and fry until it turns golden.

Transfer the meat to a small saucepan.

Add hot water or broth to the meat, cover the pan, and simmer over low heat for 2–3 hours.

In a skillet, sauté the finely chopped onion in oil.

Add the vinegar, bay leaf, sugar, and tomato paste, and cook together.

About 20–30 minutes before the meat is done, stir the onion mixture into the saucepan. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with boiled rice, pasta, or potatoes. Enjoy!
