Step-by-step cooking
To start, take the peeled onion and cut into small cubes. Fry the onion in preheated vegetable oil, so that the onion becomes golden. And add mushrooms to the already fried onion. Mushrooms can be different and champignons, and oyster mushrooms, and honey mushrooms, and any other fresh mushrooms, and even canned. If you use canned mushrooms, then pre-drain the marinade, do not use it in cooking. Mushrooms together with fried onions need to be stewed quite a bit, 10 minutes, then the whole mushroom flavor will remain. Add salt and pepper to your taste. At the end, add butter to the stewed mushrooms. Separately, boil the potatoes in salted water. Potatoes of crumbly or boiling varieties are better suited for cooking this dish. When the potatoes are ready, drain the water and mix the potatoes with the mushrooms. Leave the finished dish in a closed container so that the potatoes are soaked with mushroom flavor.
