Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a classic cottage cheese casserole with raisins? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for this according to the list. Choose cottage cheese soft and slightly moist. If necessary, rub it through a sieve to make the structure more uniform.
Step 2:
First of all, pour boiling water over the raisins and let it stand for 5 minutes. During this time it will become softer. Then drain the hot water, rinse the raisins themselves, put them on a towel and soak it from excess moisture.
Step 3:
To prepare the curd dough, beat the eggs with sugar a little. It is not necessary to beat for a long time. It is enough to turn everything into a homogeneous mass.
Step 4:
Then stir in the soft cottage cheese, sour cream, flour and baking powder. Wash the lemon and remove the zest from it. Add the prepared raisins and lemon zest to the dough. Mix all the ingredients together and bring the mass to uniformity by simply mixing everything with a whisk.
Step 5:
Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. I use a detachable metal (20-24 cm). Lubricate the bottom and sides of the mold with a small amount of vegetable oil or cover the mold with cooking paper. Put all the curd dough into it. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Be guided by your oven.
Step 6:
Remove the finished casserole from the oven and cool slightly.
Step 7:
Then cut into pieces and serve to the table, adding a small amount of sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
Be sure to wash eggs before use, as even seemingly clean shells may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
