Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make potatoes in the peel in the oven? Very simple! First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. For baking, you need to choose the right potatoes, because there are varieties that will remain raw inside even after an hour in the oven. The store does not write the names of varieties on the price tags, so focus on the color of the pulp: the lighter it is, the more starch it contains and the faster the potatoes will cook.
Step 2:
Rinse the potatoes thoroughly and rub thoroughly with a brush to remove all the earth. Dry the tubers. Potatoes are better to take a large size, it is more convenient to prepare them for baking and it looks more spectacular.
Step 3:
With a fork, scratch the furrows along the entire length of each potato, trying to make them deeper. The deeper the furrows are, the tastier and more textured the finished potatoes will turn out.
Step 4:
Rub salt, pepper and herbs into the potatoes with your hands. I have Italian herbs in the mill along with sea salt, so I didn't take extra salt. You can replace these spices with a ready-made mixture of spices for potatoes.
Step 5:
Put the potatoes in one layer in a baking dish or on a small baking sheet. Pour vegetable oil into the mold so that it covers the entire bottom. Any vegetable oil will do. I have sunflower oil.
Step 6:
Put the potatoes in a preheated 180 ° C oven for 20-30 minutes. Then carefully turn the potatoes with the baked brown side up. Return the mold to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until a golden crust appears on the other side. The exact baking time depends on the size and variety of potatoes and the characteristics of your oven. Inside, the potatoes should become soft.
Step 7:
Serve the finished potatoes immediately to the table, adding fresh herbs and vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
