Step 1:
Prepare the products according to the list. I take the turkey drumstick fresh, the size and weight of the turkey may vary, so you can take one drumstick with the specified weight, or you can take two very small ones. I take Russian mustard, dry spices for poultry, salt approximately one teaspoon, it may taste a little more for you. To taste, you can also add ground black pepper.
Step 2:
Turkey drumstick should be fresh, natural color and without unpleasant odor. If frozen drumstick is used during cooking, then it should be defrosted naturally, if there is no time for this, then you can use a microwave oven. This recipe is also suitable if you use a turkey drumstick without a bone. Wash the turkey meat under running cold water and dry it with a paper or ordinary towel. Put it in a deep tray or mold .
Step 3:
Spread the turkey drumstick thoroughly on all sides with salt and mustard, so that it is completely covered with them. If the turkey is more than the specified weight, then you can take more mustard. Thanks to mustard, turkey meat turns out very juicy. Cover the shin with a film and put it in a cool place to marinate for 2 hours. The bigger the turkey, the more time it should be marinated.
Step 4:
After two hours, rub the turkey drumstick with dry spices, also so that they completely cover the entire drumstick. Spices here you can take whatever you like, you can also use garlic, dry or fresh aromatic herbs - thyme, rosemary. Wrap the shin in foil, put it in a baking dish or on a baking sheet and put it in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 2 hours. From the finished shin, when pierced with a sharp knife, there is a transparent juice.
Step 5:
Remove the finished shin from the oven, carefully unwrap it and put it on a large dish. With a sharp knife, cut thin pieces from the edges of the shin and serve to the table. As a side dish for this meat, pasta, boiled rice and buckwheat, vegetables are suitable. Baked turkey meat is good and in a cooled form, it can be used as a slicing for sandwiches, as well as for cooking other dishes (salads, cold snacks).
