    How to bake chicken in sour cream sauce in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can use any part of the chicken. I'm going to cook chicken thighs. Onions can be both red (like mine) and ordinary onions. Mushrooms will suit any - it will still be delicious in its own way. You can take champignons or wild mushrooms. I use wild mushrooms that are pre-boiled in boiling water for 25 minutes. Sour cream take 15-20% fat content.

    For sour cream sauce, mix the prepared sour cream with salt and spices. A large selection of spices is suitable for chicken. Therefore, focus on your taste. I use a little curry, dried basil, ground black pepper and a little red pepper.

    Rinse chicken thighs in running water and dry well with a paper towel to remove excess moisture from them. Then coat the chicken with the resulting sour cream marinade.

Spread the prepared mushrooms and onions on top, pre-peeled and cut into half rings. If you use champignons, then they need to be washed, cleaned and cut into 2-3 pieces.

    Brush everything on top with the remaining sour cream sauce. Cover the mold with a sheet of foil and put it in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for 50-60 minutes. Be guided by your oven. About 15 minutes before the end of baking, remove the foil sheet and leave the chicken to brown the top a little.
