Step 1:
Prepare the necessary ingredients for making dough for a pie with potatoes and chicken in the oven.
Step 2:
Dissolve butter over low heat, let cool slightly.
Step 3:
Add salt to sour cream, mix.
Step 4:
Pour in the cooled butter, mix.
Step 5:
Pour in the flour sifted with baking powder, mix first with a spoon, then with your hands. Perhaps a little more or less flour will be needed. But do not add too much flour so that the dough is not too steep.
Step 6:
The dough should be homogeneous, soft, pliable, slightly oily. Do not knead it for too long. Cover the finished dough and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 7:
Prepare the ingredients for the filling.
Step 8:
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it, cut into small cubes.
Step 9:
Add salt to the fillet, add dried dill and basil, mix.
Step 10:
Peel the onion, wash it, chop it finely.
Step 11:
Peel potatoes, wash, cut into thin circles, add coriander, salt, mix.
Step 12:
Divide the cooled dough into 3 unequal parts. The smallest part of the dough I used for decoration. If you do not plan to decorate the cake, then divide the dough into 2 parts.
Step 13:
On a table sprinkled with flour, roll out most of the dough into a round layer slightly larger than the diameter of the mold.
Step 14:
Grease the mold with butter. With the help of a rolling pin, transfer the dough into the mold, the edges of the formation should lie on the sides of the mold.
Step 15:
Lay out the filling. First, spread the potato slices evenly.

Then bow. If desired, you can take more onions.

Spread the chicken fillet evenly.
Step 18:
Spread the pieces of butter on the chicken fillet so that the filling is more juicy. Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the pie on top. Connect the edges, pinch well.
Step 19:
Cut decorations from the remaining dough. In the middle of the pie, make a small hole for steam to escape during baking. Grease the pie with beaten egg yolk on top.
Step 20:
Bake the pie at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes. If the pie starts to blush too much, cover it with foil on top. Let the finished cake cool down a little and serve. Enjoy your meal!
You can choose another form of slicing the components of the filling. For example, cut chicken and potatoes into cubes or all cubes.
Instead of chicken fillet, you can take thighs or shins.
The dough on sour cream turns out to be very obedient, it is easy and convenient to work with it. The main thing is not to hammer it with flour, otherwise it will shrink when rolling. In addition, it will affect its taste qualities.
