Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To make a pie, you can take ready-made minced meat or make it yourself from any kind of meat.
Step 2:
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Add the chopped onion to the meat and mix everything well. Add a little salt and spices. The more onions there are in the filling, the juicier the pie will turn out.
Step 3:
Roll out the layer of the finished puff pastry into a rectangle a little.
Step 4:
Put the meat filling on one half of the dough and spread it evenly over the entire surface. On the other half of the dough, make incisions using a sharp knife.
Step 5:
Cover the meat filling with a half with slits. Make a curly border around the entire perimeter of the pie.
Step 6:
To lubricate the cake, separate the egg yolk and mix it a little.
Step 7:
Smear the entire surface of the cake with egg yolk using a silicone brush. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put the pie in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Step 8:
The finished cake will turn an appetizing golden color. Remove it from the oven and cool it down a little. Prepare a fragrant, fresh tea for it. Bon appetit!
Ready-made puff pastry is a real lifesaver in the modern rhythm of life. Its home production is too long and tedious, and the store production is no worse. I try to always keep 1-2 packages for emergencies. From it, you can cook at least sweet pastries for tea, at least a hearty unsweetened pie that will serve as a full meal. Only the defrosting of the dough must be taken care of in advance.
Any unsweetened pie can be served as a snack, for example, as a dinner. The obvious advantage of such baking is the speed of cooking. And the options for fillings are very diverse. You can add some canned champignons to the minced meat and sprinkle everything with grated cheese. The taste will only benefit from such an additive.
Cook with pleasure!
