Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake pike in foil in the oven? Prepare all ingredients. It is advisable to choose a pike of such a size that it fits into the mold or on a baking sheet entirely. But if you have a large fish, cut it into smaller pieces. Clean the pike, remove all excess, rinse in water and dry with paper towels.
Step 2:
Salt the prepared fish (both outside and inside), sprinkle with seasonings for fish. Keep in mind that there is salt in the prepared mixtures, so do not over-salt.
Step 3:
Using a special citrus juicer, squeeze the juice out of the lemon and lightly moisten the pike carcass with this juice. If there is no such juicer, cut the lemon in half and then manually squeeze out the lemon juice from the halves. Leave the fish to soak in the flavors of seasonings and lemon juice for 20 minutes.
Step 4:
At this time, prepare the sour cream filling. To do this, transfer the sour cream into a deep container. Chop the fresh parsley with a knife. Mix sour cream with chopped parsley.
Step 5:
After 20 minutes, prepare the fish for baking. To do this, take the foil and lubricate it abundantly with vegetable oil. This is done so that the pike does not stick to the foil and it does not have to be torn off, thereby spoiling the appearance of the dish. Lubricate the pike on one side with sour cream filling and put the fish with this side down on the foil. Then lubricate the other side of the fish with sour cream filling. Sprinkle the fish with vegetable oil on top again.
Step 6:
Wrap the pike carcass in foil and send it to bake in the oven at 180 ° C for about half an hour. Then unwrap the foil, send the pike back to the oven for 5-10 minutes. A ruddy crust will appear on the fish. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking according to your oven.
