Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a quick aspic pie in the oven with cabbage? Start by making the filling. Prepare all the ingredients listed in the recipe. It is better to take young cabbage, but the old one will also work, it will just need to be slightly dampened until soft in a frying pan. Wash the chicken eggs thoroughly and boil hard boiled, fill them with cold water.
Step 2:
Wash the cabbage, remove the upper leaves. Chop or thinly slice with a knife.
Step 3:
Put the chopped cabbage in a dry frying pan and fry over low heat. Stir constantly so that it does not burn. Transfer the fried cabbage to a suitable container and while it cools, prepare the remaining ingredients for the filling.
Step 4:
Peel the cooled chicken eggs from the shell. Cut into small cubes with a knife.
Step 5:
I use dill and parsley for the filling, fresh cilantro and thyme are also suitable. Wash the greens, dry them with paper towels and chop them.
Step 6:
Mix cabbage, chicken eggs and chopped greens in a container. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. The filling is ready!
Step 7:
How to make dough for aspic pie with cabbage? Measure out all the necessary ingredients. Take kefir, sour cream and chicken eggs out of the refrigerator in advance so that they have time to warm up to room temperature. Be sure to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Thanks to this, the future baking will be lush and airy.
Step 8:
Melt butter in the microwave or in a water bath. Mix it in a suitable container with kefir and sour cream. Add salt, sugar (or a sweetener that is not afraid of heat treatment). Stir with a fork or whisk until smooth.
Step 9:
In a separate container, beat the chicken eggs with a mixer until bubbles appear on the surface.
Step 10:
Carefully pour the beaten eggs into the kefir-butter mixture. Mix with a mixer until smooth. Mix baking powder with part of the flour and add to the dough. Mix it up. Pour in the rest of the flour in parts and continue to mix. Since flour differs in its properties, it may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus on the desired consistency. The dough should turn out like thick sour cream.
Step 11:
I baked in a round form of heat-resistant glass (diameter 22 cm), but you can take ceramic or silicone. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with a piece of butter. The bottom can be sprinkled with breadcrumbs so that the cake does not stick. pour out half of the dough, smooth the surface with a silicone spatula. Put the cabbage filling on top. Spread it over the entire surface.
Step 12:
Pour out the rest of the dough so that the whole filling is well covered. Smooth the surface with a spatula. Sprinkle black and white sesame seeds on top. Bake the pie in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer. pierce the pastry with it in several places, if it comes out dry without sticking dough, then it's ready.
Step 13:
Remove the finished pie from the oven. Let it cool down a bit. Now you can take out the product. Serve with salad, herbs, vegetables. Aspic pie with cabbage is equally delicious in hot and cold form.
Sour cream can be replaced with natural yogurt without additives.
Butter can be melted in the microwave or in a water bath.
How to melt butter in the microwave?
Cut the butter into small pieces and place it in a special container. To prevent the oil from splashing when heated, cover the oil vessel with a paper towel. The oil should be melted either at the lowest power or in defrosting mode. At first, five seconds will be enough. Next, if the butter has not melted yet, set it again for 5 seconds and start the microwave. Repeat the process several times until the desired result.
How to melt butter in a water bath?
You will need two containers of different diameters. Pour water into a large one and put it on the stove. Place the smaller container on top so that it is submerged in water by about half. Put the sliced butter into it. Under the influence of boiling water, the oil will begin to melt. Stir the oil slightly to speed up the process. As soon as the pieces of oil are completely dissolved, remove the container from the stove.
