Step 1:
To bake juicy chicken legs in a very tasty soy sauce, prepare the necessary ingredients. Take the classic soy sauce, not teriyaki, since teriyaki already contains sugar. But for us sugar and honey are fundamentally important - they are caramelized during baking and the legs will turn out with a crispy crust.
Step 2:
Wash and dry the chicken drumsticks well. Check the legs for non-plucked feathers and if there are any, remove them.
Step 3:
How to make marinade for chicken? In a bowl, mix soy sauce, liquid honey, balsamic vinegar, cane sugar and spices. Mix everything together. If the honey is candied, then pre-melt it on the stove or in the microwave. Dry garlic can be replaced with 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic, but keep in mind that pieces of garlic can burn in the oven. Therefore, when baking meat to a crust, I usually replace fresh garlic with dry.
Step 4:
Put the chicken drumsticks in a bowl with marinade and mix well so that all the legs are covered with marinade. Leave the chicken to marinate for 1 hour at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
Step 5:
Transfer the legs to the baking dish. If you want to go the easy way, then just pour the whole marinade from the legs or part of it into the mold and bake in a preheated oven to 200 °From the oven for about 35-40 minutes. Periodically smearing them with soy sauce from the bottom of the mold. But I suggest going the second way: grease the legs with marinade and put in the oven for 35-40 minutes and bake at 190-200 ° C. Focus on your oven.
Step 6:
Pour the marinade remaining after the legs into a saucepan and boil over medium heat until a thick sauce.
Step 7:
The sauce should leave traces on the spoon and the walls of the saucepan. It will boil about 2-3 times. It will take just about 15-20 minutes while the chicken is in the oven.
Step 8:
After 25-30 minutes of baking, grease the legs with thick soy sauce and return to the oven. Bake for about 10 minutes or longer until golden crisp. You can turn on the "top+bottom+convection" mode.
Step 9:
Serve the finished legs immediately to the table directly from the oven. If desired, sprinkle them with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Bon appetit!

Chicken can be replaced with turkey or any other type of meat at your request. But keep in mind that in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.
When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a rather salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk over-salting.
