Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Depending on the desired size of the pie and the size of the mold, you need to proportionally increase or decrease the number of ingredients. To make a pie for a family of two, one lavash is quite enough. Cottage cheese for the filling is better to use natural rustic, with a high percentage of fat content, such pastries will turn out tastier and healthier, in addition, such cottage cheese is more obedient in work.
Step 2:
Not all people like cottage cheese in its pure form, but in a pie it turns into a very tasty and delicate pastry. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl, add cream or sour cream, sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla, beat in a chicken egg. To make the curd filling more dense and firm, you can increase the number of chicken eggs.
Step 3:
Using a blender or a hand whisk, we grind the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is obtained, without large lumps of cottage cheese.
Step 4:
Beat the remaining chicken eggs with cream with a whisk or mixer and add a pinch of salt, if desired, you can add a little sugar, beat until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Step 5:
Unfold a sheet of Armenian thin lavash. Spread out and smear all the cottage cheese filling over the entire surface of the pita bread. We roll the pita bread with filling into a tight roll.
Step 6:
We roll the roll in a spiral into a snail and put it in a greased form with butter. Previously, it is better to cover the form with parchment and lubricate with oil. To make the pie easier to take out of the mold, the bottom and sides of the mold can be sprinkled with flour or semolina.
Step 7:
Pour egg-cream mixture over the "snail" of pita bread with cottage cheese filling. The oven is heated to 180 degrees. Put the pie in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, until a golden crust forms on top. We take the pie out of the oven, let it cool down a little and take it out of the mold.
Step 8:
We serve pita bread with cottage cheese with tea, coffee or cocoa. Such a pie turns out not only very tasty, but also very satisfying and nutritious, protein and carbohydrates will satisfy hunger for a long time. Drinking tea with him can replace breakfast, lunch or dinner. And for children, such a treat can be served with condensed milk, jam or jam. Have a nice tea party!
