Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a simple yogurt pie with apples in the oven? First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Take sweet and sour apples. Use flour of the highest grade. Pre-melt the butter and cool it. It will turn out no less delicious if you add not melted, but soft butter at room temperature to the dough. Take large, selected eggs.
Step 2:
In a bowl, combine yogurt, eggs, sugar and vanilla extract or flavor. Take a fatter yogurt, you can natural, without additives, or you can taste apples. To see how the eggs are beaten, it is better to first beat the eggs with sugar, and then add yogurt and vanilla.
Step 3:
Beat everything with a mixer until fluffy. Add the melted or soft butter and mix.
Step 4:
Sift flour with baking powder and add parts to the dough. Flour may need more or less depending on the consistency.
Step 5:
Make sure that the dough turns out soft and fragrant.
Step 6:
Put the dough in a baking dish lined with parchment and greased with butter (Ø 20-22 cm) and smooth it out.
Step 7:
Wash the apples, peel and seeds and cut into medium slices.
Step 8:
Put the apples on top of the dough. If desired, you can cut some of the apples into small cubes and mix them into the dough, and spread the remaining slices on top of the dough.
Step 9:
Sprinkle the apples with cinnamon on top. Bake the pie in a preheated 180 ° C oven for about 40 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven. Therefore, make sure that the pie does not burn, but it is baked inside. Check the readiness with a skewer - it should come out dry.
Step 10:
Remove the finished pie from the oven and cut into pieces. Inside, it turns out to be a little moist - after all, yogurt and melted butter are present in the dough, so you should not expect a porous charlotte structure from this pie. But the pie turns out to be soft, juicy inside because of the apples and fragrant thanks to the vanilla flavor. Bon appetit!
Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
I baked this pie twice, the second time I mixed some of the apples into the dough, and I did not peel the upper slices and took them from different apples - red and green. It turned out both tastier and more beautiful.
