Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a casserole with rice and minced meat in the oven? Prepare everything you need for this. Minced meat can be used from any kind of meat. I'm going to cook with minced pork. Sour cream can be of any fat content.
Step 2:
Rinse rice several times in cold water. Then lower the rice into boiling water and boil according to the instructions on the package. Cooking rice usually takes 20-25 minutes. The finished rice will become soft. Flip the finished rice into a colander and rinse with cold water.
Step 3:
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped onion for a couple of minutes.
Step 4:
Then put the minced meat in the pan and mix it with the onion. Fry everything together until the minced meat is ready. Add a little salt and spices to taste.
Step 5:
In a separate bowl, mix the eggs and sour cream. Add a little salt and spices. Shake everything with a whisk until smooth.
Step 6:
Mix the sour cream filling with the finished rice. Of course, you can simply pour the filling on top of the casserole, but it will completely soak it and ordinary rice will remain at the bottom.
Step 7:
For baking, take any heat-resistant mold. I have a ceramic mold. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil and put half of the prepared rice. Spread it evenly over the entire surface.
Step 8:
Then spread the fried minced meat evenly.
Step 9:
And put the second half of the rice on top of the minced meat. Press everything down a little.
Step 10:
Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Remove the stalk and cut the tomatoes into half rings. Spread the sliced tomatoes over the entire surface of the casserole.
Step 11:
Grate the cheese and sprinkle it liberally over the casserole all over the surface. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. When baking, be guided by your oven.
Step 12:
Considering that the rice and minced meat are already ready, then only the filling should be baked. Remove the finished casserole from the oven and place it on plates.
Step 13:
Bon appetit!
Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
